La Barceloneta, small Barcelona is the traditional district of the sailors and the fishermen. It was created in 1753. Mediterranean colors and delicious seafood restaurants are in the menu. Also benefit from the 5 kilometers of beaches as people from Barcelona do at weekends. In 1992, with the Olympic Games, Barcelona opens to the sea and causes urban changes. The result is a success. The old industrial grounds are metamorphosed and a new district emerges : the Olympic Village and .
